What an unforgettable wedding at the Gansevoort in Miami with two amazingly smart, genuinely kind and super fun couple! Their wedding was one of the funnest we have ever witnessed. Don't be fooled by the Harvard, Stanford and Yale graduates who attended this wedding! As composed and eloquent as they were when they arrived was as crazy as they got during the evening...

Their celebrations started on Friday evening with a beautiful Indian ceremony at their parents breathtaking estate. On Saturday, they had a traditional catholic exchange of vows at St. Patricks Catholic church. After the ceremony, the bride and most of the guest retreated to their rooms for a much needed nap. The groom though, was kidnapped by his groomsmen and spent the afternoon at the rooftop bar...

Their reception was filled with so much love! Our favorite part of the evening had to be the beautiful speeches. Such beautiful things were said about each of them, their friends and their very supportive families.

Sheila and Bill ~ Fabulous W Wedding!

Sheila and Bill were a referral from Jill, Jill’s brother married Sheila’s sister. As soon as we knew this piece of information, we knew that they had to be a very special couple and after meeting them for the first time, we knew our thoughts were right all along. Sheila is a veterinarian and Bill an entrepreneur, quite the dynamic duo! Sheila and Bill met during high school, while each were touring for competition’s with their respective school’s band . She finished her Doctorates in Philly, Bill’s hometown and they have settled there for their new life together but being that Sheila’s loves her hometown, they both agreed on Florida to host their Fabulous wedding!

During Sheila and Bill’s few trips to Miami, we had the best time together! Her mom and sister would always join us for our days of venue scouting, vendor meetings and dress shopping. Our days were long with back to back appointments but lots of fun and laughter along the way. Bill had very few requests and one was to hold the ceremony and reception at the W on Fort Lauderdale Beach. He has a special connection with the W since he installed the projectors situated in the lobby area.

Their ceremony and reception turned out amazing. The ceremony had the ocean as an amazing backdrop. A simple Huppah was used to maintain an un-obstructed view and tall cylinders filled with ocean blue colored water and floating candles to complement the clean and modern area.

For the reception we brought in a more bold color palette, to complement the modern colors of the ballroom and the amazing silver chandeliers. The linens were Chocolate Peau de Soie and the overlays custom made with a delicate but modern baby blue stitching. To add a different element we used clear chivari chairs with baby blue Shantung Cushions and napkins to tie it all together. The florals were all kept in white for a classic and elegant touch. Blue uplighting was the icing on the cake and really was the finishing touch to our modern soiree!

There were so many special elements to this evening, that it's hard just to share just one. Early on when meeting Sheila she told me that her father was such an amazing person, provider, father & husband that when dating she would scrutinize everyone to those standards. During her dance with her father, we teared just thinking of how much they loved each other and how very special this day was for all of them. Sheila's twin sister was her Maid of Honor and made such a heartfelt and wonderful speech. To our total surprise, their quite little sister Michelle also decided to suprise them with a lenghtly but funny and sentimental speech of how life was growing up in their house. The funny thing is there was not a dry eye in the house but at the same time everyone was laughing as well.

Jill & Justin ~ Black, White & Red Soiree!

Can we say hands down one of our favorite couples?!?!??! We love Jill and Justin! What an amazing time we spent together planning their wedding. Jill is one of the most kind and loving people we have ever met. Justin is tough on the exterior but also such a loving and caring person. Together they complement, support, love and care for each other immensely. I have to stay that their wedding party is the largest we have ever had. Between groomsman, bridesmaids, parents and grandparents a total of 39. Yes, 39! I will agree with what the Rabbi said during the ceremony. He said that it is a testament of the wonderful people they are and how very much they are loved!!

Their wedding was nothing less than fabulous! The white & black damask linens made such an amazing contrast to the all Red gorgeous flowers and lighting. Black chivari chairs finished off the look with such a glamorous look of elegance.

There are so many favorites to this wedding: The beautiful ceremony on the roof top terrace over looking the coral gables skyline. The romantic look of the room with the glowing red uplight. Their first look. The yummy fresh donuts.

Melissa & Al ~ Beautiful Biltmore Wedding!

I was so excited when Melissa called us based on a referral from a friend who used our services. My first meeting with Melissa was so much fun since her sisters, cousin and mother were all around to ask questions and get involved with all the excitement. Melissa is so calm, soft spoken and totally laid back. So laid back in fact that she hardly ever called me. I would stalk her with to do lists and leave her messages to make sure we stayed on track with planning. I would joke and tell her I felt like the nazi planner! LOL Fortunatley, she knew we only had the best intentions in doing so, to make her wedding a flawless and happy day.

Al on the other hand is a busy body. Always working, working but when meeting him you can see the love in his eyes when he would look at Mel. Nothing is more important to him than her, his family and friends. It totally shined through, during the reception. The way he looked at his mom during their first dance, the speech he gave but also how very fondly his brother and Melissa’s sister spoke about the amazing person he is. They both complement each other so much and have no doubt in my mind they were made for each other.

The ceremony was held at Coral Gables Congregation Church which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Miami. Their reception was at the historic Biltmore Hotel . Two amazing venues, for two amazing people. The room & décor was just exquisite. The tables were adorned with crushed fortuni moss linens, crystal chargers and silver chivari chairs. The floral candelabras accentuated the amazing architecture of the room and the flowers were a touch of romance with whites and touches of purple. Amber uplighting, illuminated the room for the finishing touch of utter elegance.

Natalie & Warren ~ Cherry Blossom & Cranberry Wedding

It’s so awesome to see when two good people find each other, fall in love and get married. That is the exact feeling you get when meeting Natalie and Warren. They complement each other so well, both very organized and what an attention to detail?!?! Usually it’s the bride that is so organized but he is one of those grooms that truly wanted to be part of every decision. Natalie is one lucky girl! (Warren you are just as lucky to have such a smart and Beautiful :0)

Their special day took place at the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove. The colors that carried throughout the wedding were off white & touches of cranberry. (she was very particular about the right shade of cranberry) The room looked so classic and elegant with the cherry blossom centerepieces. The cranberry uplighting offered just a touch of modern to bring it all together!

Kathy and Marley’s ~ Elegant Black & Champagne Wedding!

Our job is amazing!! We get to be a part of a couples most important day and along the way meet a few that you know will stay in touch for years! When Kathy and I met, we clicked immediately. She is super cool, down to earth and knows exactly what she wants. Our meetings were always fun and we usually got carried away talking about the million other things going on in each others lives. I had such a great time and was so happy to see everything come together just as she imagined her day.

Their reception was beautiful, elegant and modern. The tables were adorned with silk dupioni champagne linens, black square chargers and beautiful black accents, which was also carried into their delicious Mishas Cupcakes favors. There were two types of arrangements, one extremely tall and large with all hydrangeas and black river rocks at the bottom. The other was a garden of different white flowers surrouding 3 cylinder vases with floating candles. Everything looked stunning and the amber uplighting finished it off for perfection!

My favorite parts of the wedding had to be all the dances. Their entrance was cool and upbeat but their son totally took the spot light when he started dancing. Everyone was cheering him on. “Go Kaden, Go Kaden!” They had their first dance which was pretty emotional and then Kathy danced a special song with her mother who is such a huge part of her life and very dear to her heart. She then danced with her father and Marley danced with his mother! Love was definitely in the air.
